"Minna no Kyozai" is a website managed by The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa.

Once you register as a member user, you can access to more than 10,000 teaching resources for free.
This website is created in Japanese, English and Korean and mainly for Japanese Teachers. Thus there are a lot of explanations how to tell Japanese culture to foreigners. Teaching materials are written in Japanese with "Furigana" and English. You can teach yourself very easily.
It could be more useful than general text books for Japanese learners.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test will be held both in Japan and abroad to evaluate and certify the proficiency in Japanese of non-native speakers.
This kind of Japanese language certification is required to apply to Japanese companies
study
1. Application Form: The booklet will be on sale on and after July 3 (Mon), 2006 at major bookstores in Japan for 500 yen per copy. For the store list, please see the JEES website.
2. Test Fee: 5,500 yen
3. Application Period: July 3 (Mon) to September 5 (Tue), 2006
(Applications postmarked after September 5, 2006 will not be accepted).
Additional application period: September 12 (Tue) to October 4 (Wed), 2006
(Applications postmarked after October 4, 2006 will not be accepted.)
Additional handling charge 3,000 yen is required.
4. Sending off the Test Voucher: Scheduled for October 27 (Fri), 2006
